As I head west away from Belfast on the M1 a spring sun shines down on dappled-green Northern Ireland countryside. No radio, no music, just the sound of the car rolling steadily down the road. I exit the motorway onto a single carriageway and eventually come to a small town with a cheerfully-named pub, a stone bridge, a few tufts of daffodils, and a handful of Sunday walkers. I turn off the high street and just outside the town, past a thicket of oak and alder, perhaps some juniper trees too, is a little lane that leads to the family home of NI21 party chair and candidate for Europe, Tina McKenzie.
